- This 4-port Gigabit Ethernet Switch Module (13N0568) is a high-speed Ethernet switch option for the IBM eServer BladeCenter. BladeCenter contains four network switch module bays. Ethernet connections are supported by installing up to four BladeCenter 4-port Gigabit Ethernet Switch Modules in module bays one, two, three and four of BladeCenter.This four-port Ethernet switch option provides high-speed Ethernet connections between blade severs and the outside network environment.
