- To help reduce the amount of time required to properly install Dell components into rack cabinets, use Dell Rack Rail Kit. These rails allows virtually tool-less installation of Dell equipment. This universal rail kit is designed for installation with racks virtually meeting any specifications. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system. You have to consider the rack accessory type and size of the rack when determining which accessory to select. Sometimes it is also important to know whether the rack is a 2-post or 4-post product. These attributes are listed in the Tech Specs section of this page.
