- Description:
- The Cisco uBR-MC28X card contain two downstream ports and eight upstream ports. The downstreams on this card do not include integrated upconverters. Instead, the downstream ports generate an IF signal that must be converted through an external upconverter before transmission on the cable network. This allows the Cisco uBR-MC28X card to easily replace existing line card installations that currently use external upconverters.
