The module has a multicore processor that operates independently of the host router resources, helping ensure maximum concurrent encrypted application performance while maintaining competitive performance for other types of traffic. The Cisco VPN ISM supports the latest versions of cryptography standards, including stronger National Security Agency (NSA) regulated cryptographic algorithms such as Suite B Cryptography.
