- Description:
- The ONS 15454 DS1-14 card provides 14 Telcordia-compliant, GR-499 DS-1 ports. Each port operates at 1.544 Mbps over a 100 ohm twisted-pair copper cable. The DS1-14 card can function as a working or protect card in 1:1 protection schemes and as a working card in 1:N protection schemes. Each DS1-14 port has DSX-level (digital signal cross-connect frame) outputs supporting distances up to 655 feet.
