The modular design of the Cisco Aironet 1200 supports 802.11a and 802.11b technologies in both single- and dual-mode operation. Taking advantage of Cisco IOS Software for ease-of-use and familiarity, the Aironet 1200 Access Point can be configured to meet customer-specific requirements at the time of purchase and then reconfigured and upgraded in the field as these requirements evolve. In addition, it creates a wireless infrastructure that provides customers with maximum mobility and flexibility, the Cisco Aironet 1200 Series can be configured to meet customer-specific requirements at the time of purchase and then reconfigured and upgraded in the field as these requirements evolve.Flexibility and investment protection is provided through field-upgradable card bus and mini-PCI radios. CardBus-based 802.11a modules can easily be fitted into installed Aironet 1200 access points platform.
